My family have a gathering every Saturday, and today’s meal was steak. Most of the family members wanted Entrecote sauce and fries with the steak. My cousin who is a really great chef gets the raw fries and sauce from Relais Entrecote, which is at Salhiya, Murooj, and Avenues Gardens. Some people get confused with the other Entrecote, which is at Al Hamra, Al Fanar, Avenues, and 360 Mall. Friends and family always get confused between the two, and some think that the sauce has changed, but they don’t know that they are two different concepts looking almost the same. Anyway, I went to Al Hamra branch of Entrecote because it is next to my home, and I asked to buy raw fries and sauce for 10 people. The lady told me that she can’t sell me the fries but she can sell me the sauce. I asked for 10 small 8oz containers, so she asked her manager to take my order. He freaked out when he heard that I asked for 10, and told me that he can only sell 1-2 max. I told him that at Salhiya they sell whatever number I ask for. He called the HR to ask for the maximum number that they call sell, so the HR told him to sell a max of 3 containers. They made it such a big deal like I am buying their secret recipe, so I said you know what let me buy the 3 and go to the other branch. I bought 3 containers and went to Al Fanar branch, and when I asked to buy 9 containers, the manager freaked out much more than the one at Al Hamra. He said I can’t sell more than one container. I said you know what let me stick to Relais Entrecote and make my life much easier. I went to Salhiya branch, and I bought both the raw fries and 10 container of sauce. Relais Entrecote was much easier to deal with and much more flexible. So if anyone wants to buy their raw fries and sauce, go to Relais Entrecote at Salhiya, Murooj, and Avenues Gardens. My cousin uses the Relais Entrecote sauce with the Wagyu tomahawk, and it is really amazing. I highly recommend it, because it is a very unique experience having Relais Entrecote at home. Try it out and let me know what you think.
A month ago I was invited to have a look at the new Flare Fitness Women Gym in Jabriya. I was really impressed during the tour, because the owners thought of every single detail. The design, the finishings, and the function of the gym were extremely well done. The gym reminded me of Equinox which is my favorite gym in the US. Flare Fitness made sure that they have everything the women need in one gym, and that’s why they built a 4,800 sq.m gym. When it comes to needs, the first that came to my mind was where will the kids stay at, and they have a wonderful kids room that is designed for kids to spend lots of time. It was fun, colorful, and really cool. They also have Doh donuts store and a Macro Cafe where the clients can eat or drink healthy stuff before or after their workout. Of course I am talking about Macro Cafe, because Doh donuts will be for the cheat meal. The swimming pool was one of the coolest things I have seen, because it is filled natural light from the sky light and the pool is surrounded by glass all the way to the upper floors. Around the glass there is a track where people can run overlooking the swimming pool. The vibe really gives energy, and this is the beauty when someone hire professionals to do the layout, selecting the materials, and properly design the lightning in the project. To take a break, there is a game room where there is multiple game machines and a fooseball. Overall the gym is extremely well done and it can host up to 500 members per hour. You can find the packages & plans on their website.
Below you can find the offerings at the gym
- Swimming Pool
- Lower Body
- Upper Body
- Boot Camp
- Hiit & Core

Two weeks ago, I moved from one home to another and every few days I realize that I am missing some tech items. One day I need more access points across the house, the other a load balancer to balance Zain, Ooredoo, and STC 5G routers. Today I got a UPS backup battery for the load balancer so it always stays on even after electricity outage. I bought all of these items from a store called Tarmel Computer and I have been buying from this store since I got back to Kuwait.
This is the only store in Ben Khaldoun St that I buy from. At that store I work with Yunis and he is the one who get me anything I need. If it is something he doesn’t have, he will get it for me, so it is my one stop shop. Yunis always get me the best prices in the market and he always give me advice of what to get based on my needs. He always share his honest opinion, and he isn’t the type that tries to oversell at all. That’s why I always come back and buy from Yunis. Whenever I can’t go to the store, Yunis send the items to my home and I get the items within less than 2 hours, but I pay for delivery charges. If you need anything just contact Yunis via Whatsapp on his phone number +965 65899179 and tell him exactly what you need. I usually know exactly what I want, but sometimes I ask for recommendation.
