Few days ago I was sitting in Souq AlMubarikeya Square where you find lots of outdoor chairs. People enjoy sitting there while their kids play in the middle area. The weather was perfect and I was sitting there wondering what was missing from that experience. I was telling myself that this experience is missing a cup of tea, but I had no clue where to get it from. 10 minutes later, someone walked towards me, and asked me if I wanted tea. I was really surprised and I told him that I need tea with milk. It took a long time to prepare so I assumed that he completely forgot about me. Later on, he came back with my cup of tea with milk. When I tried it, it immediately reminded me of the best tea with milk in the US. In the US, the best tea with milk is sold at Nubia Cafe in Anaheim, California. It tasted exactly the same, but it cost much less than the US. The guy who served me the tea with milk is called Ayman, and his phone number is 98788351. I have no clue where he gets his tea from, but it is definitely the best tea with milk in Kuwait.

For the past few months I have been addicted to chocolate strawberries with caramel from La Fraise. After coming back to Kuwait, I couldn’t find really good chocolate strawberries. I tried from multiple places, but nothing was worth mentioning. Back in the day, my favorite chocolate strawberries were from Godiva in California, but when I moved to Kuwait I couldn’t find what I was looking for. Now La Fraise is exactly what i was looking for, and I am eating the ones with caramel only. My friends liked the ones with Kinder or Flake, but I wasn’t a big fan. The thing with La Fraise is that it isn’t only tasty, but also it is very convenient to eat. The chocolate doesn’t break like most chocolate strawberries, so it is much easier to eat. Next time I will make a special request to remove calyx and cover the entire strawberry with chocolate to make it even easier to eat. I highly recommend trying La Fraise, so try it out and let me know what you think.

My friends and I just reserved Starlink Satellite Internet by SpaceX for 30 KD. The deposit is fully refundable, so I am not worried about not getting the money back. I will keep it mainly for emergencies or if I ever go to a remote area. I believe I will eventually need it when the shark bites the internet cable again. I hear that it happens all the time and that’s why we get slower internet every now and then. Until today, I am not really sure if the shark story is real or not. For Starlink, I heard that the speeds are reaching 200 MB and the sky must be fully clear. That eliminates half of the year in Kuwait due to dust storms. I am a big fan of Elon Musk and I believe that he is shaping the future. Starlink basic is available in Kuwait, but Starlink Premium isn’t. The cost of the service according to The Verge “The base Starlink service costs $499 for the hardware and $99 a month, Starlink Premium will cost $2,500 for the antenna, and $500 a month”
My delivery should be sometime in 2023, and once I try it out, I will definitely review it.
