What happened to the best chicken nuggets in Kuwait. KFC chicken nuggets was my very favorite for a very long time. Sadly more than a year ago, it suddenly got discontinued and their only option right now is their popcorn chicken. Don’t get me wrong, I like KFC popcorn chicken, but it doesn’t substitute KFC chicken nuggets. McDonald’s chicken nuggets does compete with KFC, but I still prefer KFC chicken nuggets much more. I really hope they offer it again one day, because I really miss it. I don’t know other places which offers good chicken nuggets besides KFC and McDonald’s.

There are lots of carpentries that sells closets & wardrobes in Kuwait. A lot of them have one problem in common, which is design. It seems that one place create a horrible design and the rest copy it. There isn’t any research and development, which is very sad. Some closets and wardrobe designs are from ages ago with no innovation. I don’t know why this has been the case in Kuwait for a very long time. The very nice designs are usually from Europe and they are extremely expensive. The average person can never afford these closets. Woodex has managed to create impressive designs close to the ones from Europe at a much lower price. When it comes to quality, Woodex is known for extremely high quality and durability. Hossein the owner of Woodex is a very talented person. He is really passionate about woodworks, and he really cares that his products last for a very long time. My family have been dealing with Woodex for the past 15 years, and until today they always praise their quality. Sometimes we buy closets from other places which are cheaper, but we regret it few years later.
If you are thinking of buying a very high quality closets and very nice design at a very good price. Definitely buy from Woodex and you won’t regret it. DHL EasyShop | Is No Longer The Best Mail Forwarding Service in Kuwait

I finally found the perfect mail forwarding service in Kuwait. I have been using Posta Plus Mybox and Postshipper, but they both slowed down a lot due to the pandemic. I was trying to find something faster than both of them before the corona pandemic. Mybox became less efficient where I don’t see a package notifications so I call them and give them the tracking number after 3-4 weeks from delivery. They tell me the package is already in Kuwait and will be delivered in the next few days. The problem I never saw the notification, and I understand they are going through hard time because of the amount of orders. Postshipper is taking about 7 days to prepare the shipment, but I get it very fast once it is shipped. I was told to use DHL Easyshop, but I never got the chance to try it, because I was comfortable with Postshipper. After trying it for the first time, I realized this isn’t the speed that I am used to. It is abnormally fast and I haven’t seen a service that fast ever. Even MyUS isn’t as fast, so it immediately became my favorite mail forwarding service in Kuwait. Also there is an option for consolidation, but storage is free for 2 weeks only. Unlike Postshipper that gives 60-90 days of free storage. I am switching to DHL EasyShop for the urgent shipments. Postshipper for less important shipments and packages I want to consolidate over 60-90 days. Mybox for very large packages that are even less important.
Update: DHL EasyShop isn’t that great anymore, they take forever to list the package once it is delivered. Sometimes it takes more than a week to show the package in my box. Postshipper is once again the best mail forwarding service in Kuwait.

I finally found my favorite cake this year. The cake is a Poppy Seed cake from Poppylicious Bakery, and I can’t describe how delicious the cake is. Poppy Seed cake doesn’t sound very delicious, but once you have the first bite, you will be addicted. Poppylicious Bakery really perfected the cake where it is so soft and light. The first time I saw the cake, I said I will only have one small slice. I had the first slice, then asked for a bigger one. I finished the bigger slice then I asked for another one. I really couldn’t stop eating one after the other until it was mental struggle for me to stop. Because the cake is so light, it is easy to eat many slices. I choose the one with iced sugar as a topping, and the one with white chocolate isn’t really my taste. I highly recommend trying the Poppy Seed cake from Poppylicious Bakery, and trust me it is perfect for family and friends gatherings.

Few years after founding the company, Back Combined became of the most respected companies in Kuwait. Their projects are all over Kuwait, and they build complex and unique projects that very few contractors can build in Kuwait. The are a lot of reasons that Back Combined is rising so fast in the industry. The main reason is that they work with the client as a team not as an enemy. I realized lots of client contractor relationship becomes more of enemies than a team or partners. Also Walid Shaaban is the type of person who never run away from any issue, he will fix it and will find a solution regardless how challenging the issue is. He has a reputation in the market for sticking to his word even if he is at a disadvantage. There is also one great thing about Back Combined where they seek continuous improvement and they never want to stay at the same level. Lastly they constantly research new materials and find ways for customers to save money, and they are willing to take the risk by trying new materials that makes the building process for efficient.

I have been buying lots of baby products the past 5 months and the one that really stands out is Mamas & Papas. They are literally the best baby brand in Kuwait. To be the best brand requires a lot of things such as product quality, customer service, quality of delivery, and % of returned products. When it comes to quality, their products are superior. I started buying things I don’t need because of their amazing design and quality. I think I became a stroller collector, because so far I bought 3 and thinking of the 4th one but it is sold out already. Customer service is really great, they are really responsive and knowledgable about their product line. I bought the products from the avenues store and rose is the lady who really took care of me and my wife. She is excellent at following up and when I was interested in a product and it was out of stock. She calls me when it is back in stock because she knows that I am interested in buying that product. Their delivery is really amazing, they deliver very fast. If they are late, they send me an email telling me that there will be a delay. Also the percentage of damaged products is none so far and they always deliver all the products without missing a single package. I bought products from the other baby stores in Kuwait and I really regret that decision. One big store delivered a piece of furniture with missing parts. I talked to them and they sent me the same exact parts that i have not the missing one. I am going back and forth with them and after 2.5 months, they told me that they will refund me via credit card. Until now I didn’t get back the refunded money. They require so much follow up that I am fed up already. Their delivery is also horrible, they mark something delivered and I get an email saying the product was delivered, but I never received anything. 2-3 days later, I get the product. I was told this the trick by the delivery company where they trick the company they signed with.
The management of Al Tayer Group is really impressive, and because of that I would buy everything from them even if it cost much more than their competitors.

There are tons of offers at Kuwait car dealerships because of the Corona virus. I have seen offers from Maserati, Lincoln, Kia, Volkswagen, and Nissan. The best deals in my opinion were from Kia, Maserati, and Nissan. The best overall deal is Nissan Patrol which was offered at 14,999 KD. It comes in leather and it has front and back sensors. It comes with 5 years warranty and 4 years of service of 50,000 Kilometers. The reason I liked Nissan Patrol is because the car is one of the popular cars in Kuwait. It is a durable car and it holds value. Let me attach the details of the car I saw.
I was told that the deal is for June, but might be extended to July. I think the deal is very attractive, and it is a good time to buy a car if you need one.

I always lookup Kuwait latest E-Commerce websites. A lot of websites doesn’t have much design and branding, but the one I am talking about today is completely different. This is the largest pop culture website in Kuwait and it is called Ufff. The term in Kuwaiti means WOW, so I loved the website name. At Ufff, they sell Funko Pops, keychains, soft toys, bags, wallets, T shirts, caps, socks, mugs, notebooks, board games, and wall art. The thing I liked the most is that they have a crazy collection of Funko Pops. My nephews and nieces are big collectors, so I always buy them Funko Pops every now and then.
I have talked before about how Funko became very popular in Kuwait where you find them almost everywhere. I bought few for myself, and my favorite one has always been the KFC one. There are few collections that I am thinking of buying, but not sure yet. If I decide to collect Funko Pops, I will buy the following collections.
