I was waiting to buy the new Nintendo Switch 2 Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Edition. When it was released in the US, it sold out immediately, and I was really disappointed because I was waiting to buy one. I started checking all websites in Kuwait such as Xcite, Best, Geekay, Eureka, and none was offering it. I then wrote on Twitter, and Nawaf gave me the magical answer, which is buying it directly from Nintendo Saudi Arabia and they ship to Kuwait. At first, I thought it is exclusive to Saudi Arabia, but that wasn’t the case. The best part is that it is still available to buy, which isn’t the case in the US where it is still sold out everywhere. From what I am reading is that this console will be available, so it won’t be extremely scarce like the 3DS era where it was released once or twice at very small quantities.

Nintendo released Nintendo Switch 2 on June 2025 and thing I loved the most is that we never had any scalpers for Nintendo Switch 2. The beauty of being in Kuwait is that it is available everywhere, and since in Kuwait we don’t have official Nintendo prices. It started with high prices at first but went down very fast due to the availability of the console. So far Mobile 2000 is the lowest price I found which is 147.5 KD. I paid more by getting it from the UK and shipping it to Kuwait.

I am about to play Donkey Kong on the Nintendo Switch 2, and I will eventually enjoy the experience.
