I have been collecting figurines for a very long time. I don’t collect as much as I used to due to the increase of responsibility after marriage. I still buy a figurine if I really want it. In the past I used to buy figurines of the games that I play at that time, but now I only buy the ones I really love. Collecting figurines is an expensive hobby, but for me it is totally worth it. Once the item is discontinued, the prices increase like crazy on eBay. I see it as a hobby plus an asset that will always be valuable. Some figurine prices increased more than 6-7 times within 3-4 years. Until now there is no way of knowing which figurine will be very popular and will increase in value. For example with Legend of Zelda, some figurines were very popular and some weren’t. One of the brands I collect is Tsume Art, and I was really happy yesterday when I saw Ufff selling them. The one that sold out immediately was All Might United States of Smash and I was surprised to see it available for sale, because Tsume Art website sold out a long time ago, and it is a minimum of 600 KD for product and shipping if bought from eBay. Kuwait prices for rare figurines is one of the best, because people don’t look at the current value of the figurine on eBay. Basically we have our own pricing here in Kuwait.
Ufff surprised everyone when they opened their first store in Al Kout Mall. It is the perfect mall to open such a store, because it makes it more exciting. I can’t believe how Ufff expanded from a website to a store in one of Kuwait most popular malls in a very short time. What I like about Ufff is that they keep getting the most interesting brands to sell and distribute. I got a message from my nephew asking me about Ufff store, and I didn’t know how he knew about it. He told me that his cousins went to Al Kout Mall and they all took pictures of the store and shared it on social media. They had a big frame of a Funko where people take a picture of and share it online. It was a very creative idea to keep people engaged with the brand.
My favorite products in Ufff is their mugs, and if you see them in stock. Make sure you purchase them fast before they sell out. This is one of my favorite mugs, and I can’t wait for more Legend of Zelda mugs by Paladone.
I always lookup Kuwait latest E-Commerce websites. A lot of websites doesn’t have much design and branding, but the one I am talking about today is completely different. This is the largest pop culture website in Kuwait and it is called Ufff. The term in Kuwaiti means WOW, so I loved the website name. At Ufff, they sell Funko Pops, keychains, soft toys, bags, wallets, T shirts, caps, socks, mugs, notebooks, board games, and wall art. The thing I liked the most is that they have a crazy collection of Funko Pops. My nephews and nieces are big collectors, so I always buy them Funko Pops every now and then.
I have talked before about how Funko became very popular in Kuwait where you find them almost everywhere. I bought few for myself, and my favorite one has always been the KFC one. There are few collections that I am thinking of buying, but not sure yet. If I decide to collect Funko Pops, I will buy the following collections.
- Boku no Hero Academia
- Dragon Ball
- One Piece
- Death Note
- Attack on Titan
I started to see Funko Pops around 2 years ago, but it wasn’t really available much. I remember I used to go to video game exhibitions such as Knot, Comic Con, and IGN. The store that sold them was Pro Gaming, and I remember most people were buying from them. Sharingan is another store, but they didn’t focus as much on Funko Pops. Now the availability of Funko Pops has changed so much where it is literally available everywhere. The first place I saw them, and the display was really nice, it was at Fantasy World at the Avenues. When I saw the display, I was really impressed, because it was the coolest part of the entire store.

I saw the products at Xcite and Xcite.com, but I wasn’t really surprised because Xcite get all types of products. It was still nice to have them on both the store and website. The only thing I didn’t understand is the way Xcite protects the product. Usually they use the RFID tags for expensive products, but it shouldn’t be the case for Funko Pop.

The product has always been available at Ufff and you can still buy them from Ufff.com or from their instagram page Ufff. Ufff.com is one of the best websites in Kuwait. They sell lots of Funko products and other toys and collectables. I like their website design a lot and their branding is really impressive

The place that I really didn’t expect to find Funko Pops at is Trolley, but it was a genius idea, because I saw the kids asking for them even though they were going to buy candy and chocolate.

It is really nice to find Funko Pops all over Kuwait, and I am happy to see such a great product being available even at convenience stores. When you think of buying a gift for anyone whether it is a kid, teenager, or an adult. They love getting Funko, and this is what I have been getting these days, whenever I need to buy a gift. I buy Funko Pop, and the most recent one I bought was Crash Bandicoot Funko Pop from Xcite at The Avenues.
